East Coast pt. 1

After a crazy busy work month at Feldco in July, and the crazy busyness that spills over into the first two weeks of August, it was time to take a little break. NOT! It was travel and wedding time. My cousin DJ got hitched in Virginia.

DJ and I (Nick) are pretty much the same age and spent a lot of our childhood together. It was great to go out there to see him get married. Becky and I pray for DJ & Christine that they would have a blessed marriage.

One good story from the trip was when my grandparents picked me up for the wedding on Saturday afternoon (wedding was Sat. night). My Grandma was driving and we needed to get off at a certain exit. It was one of those exits where the right lane is divided about a mile before the exit. Well we missed when the lane first divided. But there was one very narrow/dangerous way to still get to the exit ramp, which was basically going perpendicular to the traffic and getting to the ramp after the divider ended at the very last second. Well MY Grandma did some awesome "un-grandma" like driving and cut over fast to get to the exit ramp. It was awesome. Sweet driving Grandma!
